
Colleyville Heritage High School varsity girls soccer team claimed their spot in the UIL 5A Regional Tournament, and won the regional semifinal game 6-1 over Amarillo. The Panthers now head to the regional final game set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Memorial Stadium in Wichita Falls, where they will face Wichita Falls Rider. Go Panthers, and good luck!

Thank you to The University of Texas at Arlington for bringing a physicist to visit with Cross Timbers Middle School ASPIRE students. Dr. Yue Deng shared the science behind the upcoming total eclipse and educated students on how they can use their love of science in their future career paths. #WeAreGCISD



Tune in today to NBC 5’s 4 p.m. newscast to watch Timberline students using GCISD’s StarLab planetarium, which rotates across district schools to provide students a live lesson about the universe. This is one of the many ways that GCISD is helping students learn about and understand the April 8 eclipse. Yesterday, a new GCISD resident joined the CHHS Golf team on the course for their practice. Bryson DeChambeau, an American professional golfer who plays in the LIV Golf League, formerly played on the PGA Tour and won the 2020 U.S. Open, came out to practice and shared more about his golf journey.
