Transportation Update: All buses will run all of their normal routes this afternoon, including routes in the areas that were impacted earlier this morning at Heritage Elementary, O.C. Taylor Elementary and Colleyville Middle schools.

Due to the threat of severe weather Friday evening, the Colleyville Heritage High School Varsity Football Game scheduled for October 27 has been moved. The game will now be on Thursday, October 26, at 7:30 p.m. The game is still at Mustang-Panther Stadium.
We are aware that it is senior night and this is an important and special moment for our students and their families. Moving this game ensures all students receive the recognition they deserve tonight instead of the potential cancellation due to weather tomorrow.
We ask seniors and their escorts to report to the North end zone at 6:30 p.m. so staff is able to check you in, line you up, and recognize your student's commitment to CHHS.

Transportation alert affecting portions of HES, OCT & CMS: Flooding from last night’s storms is affecting some bus routes. The following routes will not have service: TransUnion Apts on Heritage Ave and Bardilino Ave @ Heritage Ave.
Routes that are accessible, but that may be delayed by 5-10 minutes are routes in the Glade Parks Subdivision - Heritage Ave & Guadalupe Ave. This impacts students from Heritage Elementary, O.C. Taylor Elementary, and Colleyville Middle.
All other routes are operating as normal.

Get to know our next principal highlight, Dr. Jones from Bridges and Vista. Her favorite thing about being a principal is providing opportunities and support for students to succeed.
Thank you, Dr. Jones, for all you do for your students. #WeAreGCISD

On October 5, 2023, Governor Abbott released a proclamation calling for a third special session of the 88th Legislature in which school funding was not on the list of the governor’s priorities.
To make change, we need to contact our representatives to try and modify the priorities that have been set. Please see the message from Board President Shannon Braun and Superintendent Dr. Schnautz.
Within the message, there is a link to a sample letter that you can copy, paste and edit as you see fit into a message to your legislative representatives.
