GCISD bus driver James Hethcock won second place in the transit bus division at the School Bus Driver International Safety Competition held June 27 and 28 in Austin.
After winning first in his event at the Texas School Bus “Roadeo,” James advanced to international where he competed against the best drivers from the United States and Canada, showcasing the incredible skill and dedication of the district’s transportation team.
