Congratulations to 15 Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School students who were named All-State Artists at the 2026 Texas High School Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE). Three of their artworks were also honored with the highest honor in the competition, the Gold Seal Award, and two were awarded scholarships.
All-State Artist honors are presented to students whose work receives a rating of IV. Artwork receiving a IV rating are then considered for the Gold Seal Award. Gold Seal winners become part of a traveling exhibition across the state.
In addition to the event honors, scholarships are presented by the Texas Art Education Foundation. The Texas Art Education Association organizes the annual competition, which was held Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, at San Marcos High School.
