According to unofficial results posted by Tarrant County Elections Administration, Matthew White was elected to Place 5, Lindsey Sheguit was elected to Place 6 and Darrell Brown was elected to Place 7 on the GCISD Board of Trustees by a plurality vote in the May 2, 2026 Election.
In the election for Place 5, Matthew White received 5,842 votes (52.18%) while his opponent A.J. Pontillo received 5,353 votes (47.82%). In the election for Place 6, Lindsey Sheguit received 5,712 votes (51.11%) while her opponent Dianna Sager received 5,464 votes (48.89%). In the election for Place 7, Darrell Brown received 5,784 votes (51.64%) while his opponent Mary Humphrey received 5,417 votes (48.36%).
Final results for Place 5, 6 and 7 will be canvassed, and the elected trustees will be issued the oath of office and begin their new term on GCISD's Board of Trustees at an upcoming Board meeting.
