On Friday, March 27, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD announced its finalists for GCISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, Secondary Teacher of the Year, and the Carolyn Frank Paraprofessional of the Year.
Each finalist was surprised with the news by members of GCISD leadership on their campus during the school day in front of their peers and students to celebrate this exciting achievement. Click here to see the video from the day’s surprises.

Elementary Teacher of the Year:

Secondary Teacher of the Year:

Paraprofessional of the Year:
Dawn Frazier, Grapevine Middle School
Phyllis Madison, Colleyville Heritage High School
Mike Sode, Timberline Elementary School
Finalists will now be considered to become the district winner in each category. The GCISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, Secondary Teacher of the Year, and the Carolyn Frank Paraprofessional of the Year will be named at a luncheon sponsored by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, where all campus and department employees of the year will also be honored.
