On Saturday, February 21, members of the Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School swim and dive teams competed at the UIL 5A state championships, where CHHS junior Aiden Tokarski won two individual state titles.
Tokarski won both the 200 and 500 meter freestyle events, while also breaking two new school records in these events with a time of 1:37.59 in the 200 and 4:26.66 in the 500. These records were previously set by him at this season's UIL 5A Region 2 championships. Tokarski’s performance also gained All-American honors.

“Aiden’s incredible talent and relentless work ethic in the pool have truly set him apart,” said head swim coach Daniel Jau. “His dedication propelled him to capture two state titles, inspiring teammates and proving that hard work and passion lead to extraordinary achievements.”
Congratulations to Aiden and the GHS and CHHS swim and dive teams on a successful season!
