At a special meeting Tuesday, February 3, the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees designated Walsh Gallegos as the search firm assisting in the selection of the next GCISD superintendent.
Walsh Gallegos has more than 40 years of school law practice statewide and serves as legal counsel to approximately 500 Texas public school districts, making them uniquely familiar with the importance of a strong working relationship between the Board and its superintendent. The search services will be performed out of the firm’s Irving office.
With its selection, the firm will work with trustees to set a specific timeline for the selection of GCISD’s next superintendent as well as a candidate profile. Following this process, the firm will accept applicants on behalf of trustees. The GCISD community is encouraged to follow along with the latest updates about the superintendent search on the GCISD website.
