Grapevine-Colleyville ISD has recently announced interim appointments and support roles designed to ensure continuity and excellence across district operations. These experienced leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and specialized expertise to their respective departments during this transition period.
Interim Director of Athletics
At the January 22 monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees, Bob DeBesse was approved to serve as Interim Director of Athletics beginning January 23. DeBesse brings 41 years of experience and most recently served as the Head Football Coach at Grapevine High School, from which he retired last year.
Finance Support Services
The Board also approved contracting with Amy Drozd to provide support for the finance department. Ms. Drozd served for 18 years as Assistant Superintendent of Financial Services in Bryan ISD and most recently held the position of Chief Financial Officer for College Station ISD. She will partner with Paula McBride, Director of Finance, to provide support throughout the budget adoption process.
Technology Department Support
Current Director of Data Systems Michael Jagoditsh has stepped in to lead and provide support for the technology department. Jagoditsh has been in GCISD for six years and has 13 years of experience in educational technology.
