CHHS band

Congratulations to Colleyville Heritage High School for advancing to the UIL 5A State Marching Band Contest. They secured their place after finishing in fifth out of 28 bands at the UIL 5A Area F competition, held Saturday, November 1, at the Birdville Fine Arts Athletic Complex.

CHHS band will perform at the state competition at 3 p.m., Monday, November 10, at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Bands for both CHHS and Grapevine High School qualified for finals, and GHS placed sixth, just missing advancement to state as the top five bands moved forward.

“Area F is home to some of the finest band programs in the state and having both of our high schools finish among the top six is an incredible accomplishment,” said GCISD Director of Fine Arts Dr. Paul Sikes. “This success reflects the hard work and talent of our students, the strong leadership in our band programs, and the unwavering support of families.

Congratulations and good luck to CHHS at State!
