On October 13, the Grapevine High School tennis team competed against Aledo in the regional quarterfinals of the UIL 5A state playoffs and won 12-3 to advance to the regional semifinals.
The next match for the Mustangs will be against Amarillo Tascosa and hosted at Wichita Falls Memorial at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 16. If they win, they will play again on Friday, October 17, for the regional championship.
