Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School swept the UIL 5A District 6 Championship, held Thursday October 9, at The Buff in Haltom City. GHS won the gold in the varsity boys and girls divisions, while CHHS finished in second place in both races. GHS and CHHS also had athletes take first place as individuals. Both schools now advance to regionals to be held Monday, October 20, at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
