At its May 19 Regular Monthly Meeting, the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Board of Trustees approved Brooke Teeter-Stocz as the next principal of Grapevine Elementary School.
Teeter-Stocz has spent the majority of her career in GCISD, and currently serves as an assistant principal at Grapevine High School. Prior to that role, she was an assistant principal at Dawson Middle School in Carroll ISD. Before becoming a campus administrator, she spent time as a learning liaison, teacher and coach at Cross Timbers Middle School, a teacher at Bear Creek Elementary School, and a teacher at South Keller Intermediate School in Keller ISD.
"We are thrilled to welcome Brooke as the new principal of GES," said Superintendent Dr. Brad Schnautz. "She brings a powerful blend of strong instructional leadership and is known for building a positive campus culture. Her commitment to GES is further strengthened by her perspective as a GCISD resident and parent, ensuring a deep alignment with our district's mission and a passion for the school's future success."
A graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School, having also attended Grapevine Middle School and Dove Elementary School, Teeter-Stocz earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.
“I am deeply honored and thrilled to take on the role of leading Grapevine Elementary,” she remarked. “The Grapevine Stars are known for their strong sense of community, welcoming family atmosphere, and unwavering commitment to academic excellence. I am eager to uphold and build upon this incredible culture while becoming a proud member of the Stars family. Together We Shine!”
Teeter-Stocz will begin her new role in July 2025.
