Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School tennis teams competed at the District 6-5A Championship, where seven individuals qualified for the UIL 5A Region I Championship.
CHHS finished as the district runners-up, as a team, while senior Tobias Pfeiffer won the boys singles district championship.
GHS senior Emilia Gyorgy and sophomore Sara Gyorgy, who are the defending girls doubles state champions, won the district title. Also, juniors Connor Isbell and Noah Malin won the boys doubles district championship.
All seven students will be heading to the McLeod Tennis Center (3701 10th St, Lubbock) to compete in their respective events on May 7-8.
