GHS District

The Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School baseball teams have ended their regular season play, with both teams advancing to the UIL 5A playoffs.

GHS, which finished with a record of 25-2, claimed the District 6-5A title, making it their third consecutive championship, and will be moving on to the bi-district round of the UIL 5A Division II playoffs.

“I am so proud of this group. I think winning the district championship three years in a row shows the level of commitment of these kids,” said GHS head baseball coach Jimmy Webster. “Everybody on the outside just sees us winning, but they most likely are not aware of the time and effort these guys spend on their own to make improvements.”

CHHS finished as the district runners-up with a record of 16-10-1. The Panthers will be entering the UIL 5A Division I playoffs as the number one seed.

"I couldn't be more proud of what our team accomplished in the regular season,” said CHHS head baseball coach Chris McMullen. “It has been a great regular season, and we are looking forward to the playoffs."

Congratulations to both teams as they begin their postseason journey!
