Colleyville Heritage High School junior Caden Burris has landed a role in an upcoming movie! Caden is a theatre student who won Best Actor in UIL One Act Plays in 2022 and 2023. He will play the role of Matt in the movie “The Plague,” which premieres in theatres nationwide January 2, 2026.

At last night’s meeting, Trustees honored the cross country teams from Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School. At state, Grapevine High School won the boys cross country title while CHHS boys and girls and GHS girls finished in the top 15. The CHHS band was also honored for advancing to state, marking their fifth appearance since 2019.

Timberline Elementary School’s “Taste of Timberline” on Saturday, November 15, was another huge success. Families and community members enjoyed international food, fun and student performances. Mascots Toby the Tiger and Tracey the Tiger also attended. What a special annual event!

Congratulations to Grapevine High School’s Navya Kammend and Jane Rose! Both were honored at the Founding Forward Dallas Area Chapter 54th Annual Accolades Awards dinner on Tuesday, November 11. Navya, a senior, was one of 13 DFW essay winners. English Language Arts teacher and student council advisor Jane Rose was the Educator Honoree recognized for promoting excellence in school culture and community engagement.
