The GCISD District Art Show is open now through April 22 at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). The community is invited to see works of art by students from every GCISD campus. The show is open the same hours as the Grapevine CVB: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Choir students at HMS participated in the Waters Choral Festival Contest. The Treble Choir (Bella Voce and Aria Women) earned a Superior Trophy, and the Choraliers Men also received a Superior Trophy! Superior is the highest score! On Thursday, our Heritage Playbill students competed in the district One-Act Play festival with their show This is a Test by Stephen Gregg. It was a fantastic performance, and they came away with 4 individual awards and a Superior rating! Please help us congratulating the following students on their accomplishments:

We've received word that the HMS honors band has been named a National Winner and has received the Maestro Award from the Global Initiative For Talented Students for the second year in a row!! This is a huge honor for our students, and means that our honors band will now get to receive a free visit and clinic from a major college music professor from a major university later this year. Congratulations to the Honors Band!! #BroncoChampions
