Last week, GCISD hosted Education Day for our local chamber leadership groups. The Cannon STEM-bassadors facilitated a campus tour, while students from our elementary, middle and high schools shared their positive experiences at their respective schools. Following a tasty lunch provided by culinary arts students, guests learned more about academic and extracurricular opportunities through student demonstrations. From uplifting student musical performances to cheerful greetings by spirit leaders, and from robotics students showcasing their drones and competition robots to academic leaders sharing how GCISD schools positively impact students, the leadership groups received a full day of experiencing what it means to live, work and learn in a destination district like GCISD. Check out some of our favorite highlights from this fun-filled and inspiring day. #WeAreGCISD

We had an amazing crowd for today’s Grapevine Chamber luncheon, where guests heard district updates from Dr. Schnautz and learned more about how GCISD prepares students for success from GHS senior Patrick Shukis. Thank you to all our community partners and business leaders who make these events possible! #WeAreGCISD
