Grapevine High School’s Choir opened last night’s board meeting with wonderful holiday songs. Trustees then recognized the district Holiday Card Art winners: Annabelle Henry, Bransford Elementary School; Lily Perez, Colleyville Middle School; and Hunter Phommarath-Le, Colleyville Heritage High School. Also honored was Grapevine High School head baseball coach Jimmy Webster, recently named the National High School Baseball Coaches Association Region 6 Coach of the Year and who led the school to back-to-back state championships. The Career and Technical Education Drone Team with students from Colleyville Heritage High School and Grapevine High School was also recognized for advancing to nationals, placing seventh overall and third out of public high school teams. Congratulations to everyone!
