Our program follows the State of Texas Pre-K Guidelines with a robust scope and sequence designed with GCISD Students in mind. Pre-K is an academic program with a goal of kindergarten readiness. GCISD offers both Tuition-Based and State Funded Pre-K for 3 and 4 year olds. Pre-K 3 children must be 3 by September 1 and Pre-K4 children must be 4 by September 1.

GCISD’s Pre-K three and four programs offer limited open enrollment to:

• All children who live in the GCISD attendance zone

• Children of employees of the cities of Grapevine and Colleyville

• Children of GCISD employees

• Grandchildren of GCISD residents 

• Children who reside within the city boundaries of Grapevine or Colleyville, but not within the boundaries of GCISD
