The Payroll & Benefits Department processes paychecks and administers employee benefits such as medical, dental and other policies. The District participates in the following plans and other located on the Benefits page:
UBC Medical plans: Allegiance is your insurance. Your network providers are either: BS&W or Cigna (Open Access Plus Network) | Superior Vision | Hartford Hospital Indemnity Plan (HIP) |

Helpful tip:
When the doctor's office asks... who is our insurance with? There could be up to 3 companies on the ID card. You are thinking, is it Allegiance, Baylor Scott & White, or Cigna?
Answer:
Allegiance. You'd share, "My insurance is Allegiance."
The network provider is BS&W or Cigna - OAP, open access plus network.
