The Payroll & Benefits Department processes paychecks and administers employee benefits such as medical, dental and other policies. The District participates in the following plans and other located on the Benefits page:

UBC Medical plans: Allegiance is your insurance.

Your network providers are either: BS&W or Cigna (Open Access Plus Network)

Superior Vision

Hartford Hospital Indemnity Plan (HIP)

Cigna Dental (High or Low PPO)

Insurance Hartford Disability

CHUBB (Cancer plan)

QCD of America (Discount Dental)

UNUM Life (Basic employee life and voluntary policies)

Health Savings Account (HSA) with EECU

Helpful tip:

When the doctor's office asks... who is our insurance with? There could be up to 3 companies on the ID card. You are thinking, is it Allegiance, Baylor Scott & White, or Cigna?

Answer:
Allegiance. You'd share, "My insurance is Allegiance."
