Circulation
The primary function of a library learning commons is to provide service to its patrons through learning spaces and resources. In order to facilitate this, the status of each physical circulating item must be maintained through an efficient circulation system.
Policies
Elementary Circulation Policies
Maximum item checkout: 3 items*
Due dates: 2 weeks out
Renewals: Can renew once
Overdue notices and/or emails will be sent out on a regular basis
*The Library Media Specialist can override to checkout more items to students at their own discretion.
Middle School Circulation Policies
Maximum item checkout: 5 items*
Due dates: 2 weeks out
Renewals: Can renew once
Overdue notices and/or emails will be sent out on a regular basis

High School Circulation Policies
Maximum item checkout: 6 items*
Due dates: 2 weeks out
Renewals: Can renew twice
Overdue notices and/or emails will be sent out on a regular basis

Overdue/Damaged/Lost Book Guidelines
There are no fines for overdue books.
After 60 days, the book is marked "Lost" in the catalog system and the student is charged the replacement price of the book.
If a book is damaged beyond repair, the student will be charged the replacement cost of the book.
If a student has an outstanding fee for a lost or damaged book, their lending privileges may be reduced.
