The Fillies won 1st place in 5A in the DFW area last night at our state assessment! Since dance is not officially under UIL, the Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA) created a state assessment in which Texas high school dance teams receive a Division 1, 2 or 3 on a field performance (similar to band). This year, they had a finals round and rankings for 5A at the DFW area assessment - your Fillies came out as 1ST PLACE WINNERS!
