Raptor visitor management system is experiencing a system-wide service interruption. The vendor is working to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. A few of this weeks Spike's Super Students enjoyed their lunchtime treat! These students have demonstrated exceptional hallway behavior and got to invite a friend to eat lunch with them!



Please join us for our first Parent Tech Academy of the school year at the Professional Development & Education Center (PDEC) on September 20th at 6:30 p.m. The technology department will discuss apps that parents use, such as Canvas, Skyward, Lightspeed and Seesaw. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about each app and how they can stay better informed about their child. #WeAreGCISD

Up to 8 days per year (4 per semester) may be excused by a parent note for missed attendance beyond medical, approved excused, and statutorily exemptions. Vacations taken during the school year will be coded as unexcused absences.

In December 2022, @GHESGators teacher Kimberly Graham, sadly passed. The Smiley Committee decided to sell t-shirts to raise money for a local animal shelter, in her honor 🐾🐾 The Smiley Club raised close to $1000 for Operation Kindness, a no-kill animal shelter.
