Check out what her colleagues said about her in their nominations:
Marlene is so kind, when I first started she was so helpful and took time out of her day to explain everything that I needed to know. She was the first staff member to take me under her wing and support me.
She also absolutely loves these kids. She will often say "I am worried about... I am wondering how we can help so and do better". She is committed to these kids not only being taken care of but committed to them getting a great education.
I have never seen her lose her patience or say anything unkind. These students know she will always be there for them. She is a fantastic wolfpack member.
Mrs. Smith has a crucial member of my classroom! She is always engaged in our classroom. She makes a positive impact on our room helping not only our SPED students but all students. She helps me pass out papers to students to help the flow of the class. She asks clarifying questions. I would be lost without her in my room.
Marlene exhibits compassion and respect for ALL students.

Check out what her peers said about her in their nominations:
Ms. Maupin’s 6th Grade World Cultures classroom serves as a campus exemplar, defined by a culture of respect where students feel safe taking academic risks and engaging in rigorous, TEKS-aligned lessons. She masterfully integrates high-impact instructional strategies and purposeful technology to drive measurable growth, using "aggressive monitoring" and formative data to provide immediate, targeted feedback.
A dedicated "leader of leaders," she mentors colleagues and actively contributes to the Professional Learning Community while pursuing her Master’s degree and leadership certification. Her commitment extends beyond academics, as she fosters deep relationships with families and prioritizes the emotional well-being of every student.
Ultimately, her passion and energy create a vibrant learning environment where high standards and student-centered support allow every "Wolf" to achieve their full potential.

The Purpose of National SRO Appreciation Day is to appreciate the unique, three-part role SROs fulfill as informal counselors, educators, and law enforcement officers. SROs help build positive relationships, improve school safety culture, and act as trusted mentors to students.
Officer Huski has secret handshakes with students, is quick with a joke, is our best bathroom bouncer, and just might intercept a flower arrangement from the delivery guy during a photo shoot. But beneath the dad jokes and puns is a man who puts the safety of our Wolf Pack above all else.
Please join me in giving Officer Huski a HOOOOOOWWWWWLLLLL on National SRO Appreciation Day and everyday that he keeps our Pack safe.

Thank you #gottfather63 for capturing the memories for the pack!
