Secondary Summer School

All GCISD students attending summer school must wear their GCISD student ID at all times.
The ID must be worn above the waist.

Session A: June 1 - 12, 2020
Session B: June 15 - June 26, 2020

7:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m., and/or
12:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.

Program Description:
Secondary Summer School is designed for credit recovery and acceleration.

Middle School Summer School Registration

For students who are/were in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2018-2019 school year


Middle School Bridge Class Registration

For students who are/were in 6th or 7th grade during the 2019-2020 school year. Note: location of middle school summer bridge is Heritage Middle School.


High School Summer School Registration

For students who are/were in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during the 2018-2019 school year


High School STAAR Prep Class Registration

For students who are/were in 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during the 2018-2019 school year. 8th-grade students who took Algebra I and/or Biology and did not pass the STAAR may register.

June 23 - STAAR EOC - English I
June 24 - STAAR EOC - Algebra
June 25 - STAAR EOC - English II
June 26 - STAAR EOC - Biology & US History

Cost: 

    All Students - $300 per course, per session

    Out-of-district students - Additional one-time, non-refundable fee of $50

    Bridge classes - $300 per course per course.
