GCISD Awards & Honors

• The Colleyville Heritage baseball team won its first UIL 5A State Championship.
• The Grapevine High School girls golf team won a third consecutive UIL Class 5A State Championship.
• GCISD was named a Top 100 Place to Work.
• The GCISD Board of Trustees was named the 2018 Outstanding School Board of Texas.
• Four DECA students advanced to the finals at the DECA International Career Development Conference.
• Joe Parthemore was named a Texas Teacher of the Year finalist.
• Twenty-six seniors were named 2019 National Merit Finalists.
• GCISD has award-winning Emergency Management and School Security, Nutritional Services and Financial Services Departments.
• Dr. Robin Ryan was named Region 11 Superintendent of the Year.
• GCISD opened Mustang Panther Stadium, Mustang and Panther Activity Center and Cannon Elementary School.
• Announced as one of 100 districts nationwide to receive a grant from the Amazon Future Engineer program.
• Collegiate Academy was selected to take part in the Hamilton Education Program.
• Nine students represented GCISD as Texas All-State musicians.
• GHS Counseling won the Gold Award from the LSSSCA Lone Star State School Counselor Association.
• iUniversity Prep is ranked the #2 Best Online High School in America by Niche for 2019.
