Updates to GCISD COVID-19 Testing Center
Posted on 08/23/2021

GCISD is making significant changes to procedures at the GCISD COVID-19 Testing Center. The center is no longer a drive through center, and has instead relocated to Portable Building CRC2 at the GCISD Administration complex (3051 Ira E. Woods Ave, Grapevine, TX 76051).

The center is currently open only for symptomatic students, staff, and for staff who fit the TEA guidance: “For staff who meet the close contact threshold with a COVID-19 positive individual, if these staff continue to work on campus, rapid testing must be performed at the start of the day, at least once every other day until the end of day 10.”

From 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. the center is only open for staff members. During this time frame, staff members will not be required to have an appointment.

From 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. students and staff can visit the center, but they must schedule an appointment to do so. Appointments can be made by emailing [email protected]

Parking spots are reserved near the testing center for those that are being tested (see map here for details). Once visitors arrive in a parking spot, signage will direct you to the testing center. It is important that anyone visiting the testing center not enter any GCISD Administration Buildings for any reason. You will be directed into the testing center building by GCISD staff.
