GCISD has been named a 2020 Dallas Morning News Top 100 Workplace. This is the third consecutive year that GCISD has received this designation which based on feedback from its employees.
“We are excited any year that we are named a Dallas Morning News Top 100 Workplace,” said GCISD Superintendent Dr. Robin Ryan. “This year is extra special because we know that our staff had to innovate overnight to support students during a global health pandemic. These unprecedented times have certainly been stressful; however, our staff have pulled together, relied on each other and truly demonstrated why GCISD is the BEST.”

GCISD ranked 9th in the "large companies" category which includes companies with 500 or more employees, its highest ranking in three years. Additionally, GCISD was the highest ranked of four school districts that were part of the Top 100.
