GCISD students and staff help community program

Students at O.C. Taylor Elementary School, along with GCISD Nutrition Services, conducted campus and department activities to raise funds and collect items to benefit GRACE, a local relief agency.

Through a student-developed and student-led campaign, O.C. Taylor ES students raised $268.09 to donate to GRACE. Students designed and created wrist-bands that they then sold to their peers and school staff members, donating proceeds to the agency to help families in need.

GCISD Nutrition Services staff worked together to collect items to donate to GRACE. This collection drive was held at their administrative offices, as well as on campuses. Staff members then came together with their donated items at GRACE for their joint drop-off event.
