The following letter was sent to Colleyville Heritage High School families on January 25, 2022.
Panther community,
Last Fall, we began our search for the next principal of Colleyville Heritage High School. We are devoted to our charge of finding the best leader for CHHS and have made significant progress in the search.
CHHS is well known for the quality of comprehensive education and its community support which led to a strong candidate pool for this position. Since posting the position on November 29, central office administrators have reviewed each applicant, scheduled and conducted interviews with qualified applicants and selected candidates to interview with a campus/community based committee.
We are now prepared for the campus/community based interview process that will be held in early February. The interview committee consists of classroom teachers, coaches, students, parents, community members and campus staff. The committee members represent the various areas of CHHS to allow us to gather the voice of the collective Panther community.
As a part of the interview process, the committee will provide feedback to members of the leadership team and me, after which I will make a recommendation to the GCISD Board of Trustees. Thank you for your continued support of the Panther students and staff.
