New Safety Protocols in Effect at Mustang-Panther Stadium
Football is back, and GCISD looks forward to a fantastic season with many celebrations. For safety and security purposes of all attendees, new protocols are now in effect at Mustang-Panther Stadium (MPS) for all varsity games.
Clear bag procedures
Fans are encouraged to limit the number of items brought to the stadium. Attendees will be permitted to carry one (1) of the following style and size bags into the stadium:
Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection and for credentialed media.
Student participants including trainers, cheerleaders, dance teams, and the band will be able to continue to use their team-issued bags but must enter through the media/field entrances.
Grapevine High School and Colleyville Heritage High School booster clubs will have branded clear bags available for purchase.
Postgame celebrations
Fans are welcome to join in postgame celebrations. For safety purposes and crowd control, please note that celebrations have moved from the field to the north end by the fieldhouse and track.
-
Attendees should exit the stadium and enter the field house/track area via the north field gate to celebrate/meet their student-athlete. Please do not use the stairs to access the field.
-
Only credentialed personnel will be allowed access to field level at all times.
-
Campus and Athletics Department staff will work to create an event post game for senior night at field level.
Other Items
No outside food and drink, game balls, skateboards/scooters, or mechanical noise makers are allowed inside the stadium.
GCISD thanks everyone for helping us maintain a safe and celebratory environment at athletic events.
