Coach Miller Receives UIL Award

The University Interscholastic League has recognized GHS Coach Rick Miller as a recipient of the 2022 UIL Sponsor Excellence Award. Miller was among 15 other coaches from across the state to receive this award.

19 GCISD DECA Students Are Named State Champions

More than 80 GCISD students from Colleyville Heritage and Grapevine high schools advanced to compete at the state DECA competition and 19 returned as first place champions, a particularly difficult feat since the Texas chapter is the largest DECA association in the world with more than 16,000 members.

GCISD Recommends Jerry Edwards as CHHS Boys’ Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach

At Monday evening’s Regular Board of Trustees Meeting, Lone Finalist for Superintendent Dr. Brad Schnautz will recommend Jerry Edwards for the position of Boys’ Athletic Coordinator and Head Football coach at Colleyville Heritage High School.

Glenhope Fourth Grader Takes a Top Spot in Regional Spelling Bee

After a first-place finish in the district spelling bee, which included all of the first place school winners from GCISD and Carroll ISD, Glenhope fourth grader Cayden Siriak advanced to compete at the regional spelling bee hosted by TCU where he came in third.
