Now in its fourth year of existence, the GCISD esports program continues to create milestones. The latest came on November 6 when the program hosted its first in-person tournament.
More than 200 students from the area traveled to Grapevine High School for GCISD's 2021 Rocket League Invitational. More than $10,000 in prizes were on the line as students competed in Rocket League matches at various stations in the GHS cafeteria, and on the main stage in the GHS Auditorium.
