GCISD is excited to announce that Grapevine Middle School has been designated a School Transforming Learning (STL) by N2 Learning and The Principal's Institute. The STL program is designed to honor and showcase the work of campuses that are led by current or former Principal's Institute members and making exceptional strides on their journeys to provide innovative learning opportunities for all students.
Some of the criteria to earn the STL designation include being a campus focused on transforming learning while ensuring student engagement, being a campus with a positive campus culture that values relationships, collaboration, and risk-taking and being a campus where leadership is clear in their why and focused on empowering and inspiring others.
The Principal's Institute was established in 2010 and works with educational leaders to understand why transformation of public education is necessary as well as develop the knowledge and skills required to lead and build the capacity to sustain transformation over time.
