iUniversity Prep launches “Fences: The Crisis”

iUniversity Prep has launched this year’s project entitled “Fences: The Crisis”. The Fences Project is an annual living history simulation that that allows students to engage in a specific time period over the course of a night. This year’s project allowed students from all over the state of Texas to come together to experience the White House in 1962 during the thirteen days of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

“Opportunities like these bring students to the next level in learning and application along with understanding of government and policy,” said Director of Virtual Learning, Dr. Kaye Rogers.

The project was funded by the Education Foundation which provided a grant to cover the costs of the event.
