2017 Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year the last week of October. It is a nationally recognized substance abuse prevention campaign dedicated to the memory of Kiki Camerena, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, killed in the line of duty.
GCISD sponsored a Public Service Announcement video contest and a drug prevention poster contest. These students will be recognized at the November 13th School Board Meeting. Congratulations to the following GCISD students:
