Students from Grapevine High School’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing participated in a National Fantasy Football Competition sponsored by Sports Career Consulting. As part of the contest, students had to research and create a new professional sports franchise and use that team to compete in various academic tasks. Students from GHS chose the team the San Antonio Roughriders. Projects included: team branding, fan engagement and experience, public relations initiatives, press releases, digital marketing strategies, and more. The group from GHS placed first out of forty schools across the country. The students that participated in the competition include Edwin Alvarado, Maximilian Antinone, Ian Banks, Gage Brown, Jovanny Cardozo, Matthew Corbett, Andrew Garcia, Blake Ginn, Joshua McCain and Samuel Taylor.
Congratulations GHS Sports and Entertainment Marketing Students!
