Timberline Elementary hosts annual CALA Art Showcase
Timberline Elementary School and its Cultural Artistic Leadership Academy hosted its annual CALA Art Showcase on Thursday, January 18, 2018.
The showcase featured artistic and cultural presentations from Panama and Puerto Rico and as a special guest, renowned Puerto Rican artist Noin Rivera delighted everybody by painting live to the rhythm of Puerto Rican music. Student leaders led guests on tours of artwork displayed by all students in K-5th as well as interactive technology stations, art stations, and museum information table. This unique event brings art and culture together not only for Timberline families but for all the GCISD community as well.
