The 2019-2020 Tuition Based Pre-K Program Lottery Application window will be open March 1st through March 22nd. 

The lottery will be electronic this year. It will no longer be live streamed as it has in the past. Families will complete the following steps to apply, accept, and determine their status. This page will update with links to create your account and apply on March 1st.

1. Set up your family account at School Mint and add students (one account per family)


2. Complete Application. (upload property tax statement; or current lease or rental agreement; or executed deed of sale during application process.)


3. The lottery will be held on March 29th


4. Log in to your account to check your status and/or accept an offer

The Online Pre-K Lottery  for Tuition Based Pre-K will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019.*

Applicants must be GCISD Residents (or live in Grapevine or Colleyville) and the child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2019.  

*Once a seat is accepted the registration and supply fees of $250.00 is due.  The first tuition payment will be due on July 31, 2019.

Prekindergarten has limited availability for the 2018-2019 school year for children who are 4 years old by September 1st, 2018.  GCISD Pre-K is for families who are zoned to GCISD based on their residence.

Tuition

$6000.00 annual tuition divided into ten (10) equal payments
Payments billed July 2018 – April 2019 due on 30th of each month
Late fees will be assessed on the 5th of each month ($30.00)
All payments are processed through an online tuition system

Our Teachers
All GCISD Pre-K teachers are certified by the Texas Education Agency and
receive professional development throughout the year.

Ratios and Class Size
Adult to student ration will not exceed 1:11
Maximum number of students is 22

Our Curriculum
The district will follow the State of Texas Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines with a
robust scope and sequence designed with GCISD Students in mind.
It is an academic program with a goal of kindergarten readiness. Some of the curriculum resources used are Learning Without Tears, STEMscopes and Opening the World of Learning.
