Secondary Summer School

Registration is open starting on April 17, 2023 to enrolled GCISD students only and will be completed through Skyward.
In person registration is scheduled for June 1, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the GHS Learning Commons.

If you are dropping a class in Arena scheduling, please inform the Summer School office so the class fees can be deleted as well. You can email [email protected] with your child's name, ID#, and a list of the classes to be removed.

Morning session:
8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon session:
12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Grades : 6-8
Session: June 5-9, 2023 (8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) ** All middle school students needing middle school course credit need to sign up for this session and must stay all day.

Program Description
Secondary Summer School is designed for credit recovery and acceleration. GCISD secondary students can take up to four courses each summer.

Cost
All Students - $330 per course, per session
Bridge classes - $330 per course per course

All students attending summer school must wear their GCISD student ID at all times. The ID must be worn above the waist.
