STEM Class of 2021 Profile

The STEM Academy at GHS serves 9-12th grades. CHHS launched a STEM Academy in 2019-2020 that will serve both 9th and 10th grades in 2020-2021. The program will add a grade each year through 12th grade. Instruction includes a focus on how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, in combination, allow students to solve problems. Engineering, through design thinking, builds empathy as students consider solutions to campus, local, state, and global issues. Students in the STEM Academy take STEM Pre-AP and AP Courses. 9th and 10th-grade students enroll in STEM core courses, 11th, and 12th-grade students enroll in STEM sections of AP Capstone Courses.
