A runoff election between Amy Putnam and incumbent Becky St. John was required for the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District’s Board of Trustees, Place 2 after neither candidate reached the required majority vote. Becky St. John has been elected to Place 2 on the GCISD Board of Trustees by a majority vote in the June 16, 2018, Runoff Election with 100 percent of precincts reporting, according to unofficial results posted by Tarrant County Elections Administration on Saturday night.
In the runoff election for Place 2, Becky St. John received 3,957 votes (63.91%) while her opponent, Amy Putnam, received 2,235 votes (36.09%).
Final results will be canvassed during an upcoming special Board meeting. During the regular July Board meeting, the newly elected trustee will be issued the oath of office and begin their term on GCISD's Board of Trustees.
