Pulling Down Applications (Software Programs)

To pull down programs that do not simply launch from the All Programs menu, use the following directions.  You do not need to pull all programs down – just the ones you think you may use.  This example uses FileMaker Pro 6 database as an example:

1.      Login with your Novell login
2.      Click Start
3.      Select All Programs
4.      Select .WORKSTATIONS.TEACHERS.HMS.CHHS-CORE.GCISD or the menu option that displays the preferred application (usually in all capital letters)
(The part in RED may show another campus core.)
5.      Select the preferred application/software.
(If you have not already downloaded the program to your machine, let it download and restart the machine before continuing)

** If the .WORKSTATIONS.TEACHERS.HMS.CHHS-CORE.GCISD menu does not appear, select Start/All Programs/ZenWorks/Application Explorer, then return to step 2.
