Campus Excellence Committee (CEC)
The Campus Excellence Committee (CEC) at Bear Creek Elementary is made up of the principal, six elected classroom teachers, three elected campus staff members, four campus parents, and two community/business members. The CEC makes important decisions for the campus regarding budget, goal setting, curriculum, staffing patterns, and school organization.
All of the CEC meetings are open to the public. Each meeting begins with an open forum. Any parent may speak during this open forum meeting. If you would like to speak, we ask that you notify the principal or school office at least 24 hours before the scheduled CEC meeting. The CEC meets at least 6 times per year on Thursday evenings at 6:00 in our conference room.
