Math Announcements

It is hard to believe that Summer has come and gone and we are starting the 2008-2009 school year. Your child will be receiving Math Information Sheet on the first day of class. Please read over it carefully and make sure you and your child understand what is expected of them in my classroom. On all PAP math information sheets there is a place for both the parent and child to sign signifying that both of you understand my expectations, all of which are in place to help make your child be as successful as he/she can be in PAP math. You also should have received a school supply list. I have added one item to that, a paper folder with brads and pockets to hold their daily warm-ups. Your child will leave this folder in my classroom.

As the year progresses, please take a peek at your childs binder every once and a while to make sure that he/she has the needed supplies to be successful at school. Check your child's binder reminder on a regular basis to see if he/she is writing down the assignments and completing them on time. We are up and running with our curriculum, so we have plenty of time to secure your child's understanding of the concepts and have a lot of fun along the way.
