Students were assigned the first task of keyboarding using the program TYPE TO LEARN 3. It is a networked keyboarding program. The score is based upon accuracy of their individual keyboarding skills during each mission.
Fourth Grade
Students returned to the lab this year with experience under their belt. With this experience, they were expected to use those skills to complete their first project. The project is created using the program HYPERSTUDIO. It is a multimedia program. Since 4th grade is studying Texas history. Their project was to draw a picture about a line in various TEXAS songs. Once each student has completed their picture, these pictures are put together to create one multimedia presentation for each song. It is one of our favorite projects in 4th grade and has been a big success in the past. This year it should be a big hit as well.
