July Meeting Notes

Polo Shirts

                 *Shirts cost-$22.50

                 *Youth size shirts are available.

                 * Men’s shirts run larger than normal and the ladies sizes run a little smaller         

                 *Another order will be placed soon. Please make the check payable to Stephany                                         Bufe

T-Shirts

                 *$15 each

                 *This is a fundraiser

                 *Shirt sizes run on the smaller than usual

                 *See attachment for shirt images

                 *The one with the yellow letters will be on a navy blue shirt (not the blue                                                   color is shows. Smaller image is on the front, larger the back.

                 *Sizes other than an adult small, medium, or large must be preordered

                

Fall Show Registration

                 * Will be handled totally different than in the past

                 * You will pay by one check payable to Stephany Bufe

                                  - It will be deposited in the Friends and Family account

                 * All show entries will be turned in during the August meeting or before if you                                        can’t attend the meeting. If you miss the deadline, then you will not show in                                           the shows.

                 * Follow the instructions in the packet on show registration

                 *Please email Mrs. Bufe @ bufe@sbcglobal.net if you missed the meeting and     need a                          packet

Daily Barn Duties

                 *Please keep the common areas clean

                 *Your pen should be cleaned daily

                 *If you clip your animal, clean up the chute area before you leave.

                                 

Weekly Barn Cleanup

                 *Begins this week @ 7:00 PM

                 *If you have an animal at the barn, you are expected to show up on the day you                        signed up for.

                 *Parents have been assigned a day to supervise the FFA students. Please trade if                                       that day will not work for you.

                 * Schedule is attached.

                 *Parents will be called if you miss barn cleanup.

                 *Wednesday group will clean on Tuesday July 3rd

August 1

                 Entries due for the North Texas State Fair- You must mail these on your own. Entry forms                  can be found on     the FFA website or at www.northtexasstatefair.com.

August 7

                 FFA meeting at the Bufe’s at 7PM. Bring completed show entry forms, cost                  worksheet, & money (don’t worry about Mr. Burton’s signature).

August 19
