Plenty of people dream of working in a beautiful building, full of bright students and talented professionals with encouraging and supportive parents. Being the Assistant Principal of Heritage Middle School is a dream come true.
Middle school years are an exciting time in the educational experience. It doesn’t take much to conjure up what it felt like to walk the halls of your middle school. An emotional roller coaster ride of ups and downs with crisis upon crisis makes working with this special age group never boring or dull.
The job of assistant principal encompasses a wide spectrum of responsibilities, from academics, attendance, extra-curricular supervision, behavior management, public relations, teacher appraisals, transportation, and so on. But none of these duties are more important than problem solving with students, parents and faculty.
Please know that I look forward to every day and the challenges that it brings.
