A bit more about me
I am originally from the small East Texas town of Hawkins. I played football and baseball at Hawkins High School and received multiple awards in both sports. In attended Tyler Junior College and played football during the 1997 - 1998 seasons. In the fall of 1999, I transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University on a football scholarship. While at Stephen F. Austin, I was a member of the 1999 Southland Conference championship team, and finished the season ranked as the fifth ranked punter in the nation. In the spring of 2001, I attended the NFL Combine, where I was among the top five punters at the combine. During my time at SFA, I majored in Kinesiology, with a minor in History. I've been involved in athletics since I was four years old, and teaching and coaching was a natural fit for me. I feel that I have a lot to offer to our students, and I love being able to interact and teach our kids each and every day. I am currently in my
second year of teaching at CMS, and in my fifth year of teaching overall.
